Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience 1 year to less than 2 years.
Work location: On site. Work must be completed at the physical location. No remote option.
Responsibilities
Coordinate the flow of information
Interview patients to obtain case histories
Open and distribute regular and electronic incoming mail and other material
Schedule and confirm appointments
Train staff in procedures and in use of current software
Complete insurance and other claim forms
Maintain filing system
Order supplies and maintain inventory
Determine and establish office procedures and routines
Enter and format electronically based medical reports and correspondence and prepare spreadsheets and documents for review
Initiate and maintain confidential medical files and records
Perform data entry
Provide customer service
Obtain and examine all relevant information to assess client feedback, enquiries and complaints in the delivery of meaningful information and services.
Send invoices
Provide basic information to clients and the public
Participate in marketing plans and implementation
Obtain and process information required to provide customer service
Implement marketing activities
Greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas
Conduct surveys
Calculate billing charges
Book appointments
Arrange for billing for services
Prepare reports
Answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages
Receive and issue payments
Help physical therapists
Coordinate patient care
Compile data to prepare documents
