Build the Future of Sustainable Construction with Quantum Passivhaus
Quantum Passivhaus is seeking an experienced Carpenter’s Helper to support our expanding portfolio of high-performance residential, commercial, and deep energy retrofit projects. Since 2017, we have delivered advanced panelized solutions that combine modern prefabrication with leading building‑science practices. Position Summary Quantum is looking for hardworking individuals to join our production team in Minden. In this role, you will help build high-performance wall, floor, and roof panels. This position is ideal for someone seeking a long-term carpentry career indoors using modern technology in a stable manufacturing environment.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS&BENEFITS Experience
Physically able to stand for long periods and lift materials in a fast‑paced environment
Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive, team‑first attitude
Willingness to learn new equipment and carpentry techniques
Familiarity with WHMIS and power tool safety (Forklift or First Aid certifications are an asset)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Measure, cut, and assemble wood components for wall, floor, and roof systems
Operate semi-automated jig tables, flip tables, and production machinery safely
Apply sheathing, insulation, and weather‑protective membranes
Use pneumatic nailers and standard power tools with precision
Quality&Logistics
Inspect products to ensure they meet project specifications
Load, unload, and organize materials to maintain efficient workflow
Occasionally assist with panel installation at job sites
Safety&Teamwork
Follow OHSA regulations and maintain tools in safe working condition
Communicate with the Production Supervisor and support teammates to meet deadlines
Learning&Development
Take initiative to learn machinery, framing techniques, and construction processes
Seek guidance from experienced team members to build skills and knowledge
Stable, year‑round work inside a heated shop
Skill development and growth opportunities as you gain experience
Supportive team environment focused on quality and safety
