Instructional Assistant for Elementary Education, St-Raphaël

Be an integral part of educational development as an Instructional Assistant in Elementary education. Assist licensed teachers in achieving instructional objectives and enhance learning through effective support.

This role involves working directly with students to reinforce essential skills in various disciplines. Responsibilities include managing classroom dynamics, documenting student progress, and assisting in classroom setups. You'll also participate in students' non-instructional activities, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:• Coach students in reading, math, and other subjects • Maintain effective classroom behavior management • Document student learning outcomes and adjustments • Assist teachers with curriculum materials • Support students in non-academic settings

Requirements:• Preferred: Illinois Professional Educator License or recognized Substitute License • Bachelor’s in Education preferred • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Familiarity with educational technology platforms • Reliable presence based on established schedule
