Environmental Services Staff Member, International Border Region (Cardston)

As an Environmental Services staff member, you will be responsible for routine cleaning and waste collection within the facility, and will execute detailed cleanings in sensitive areas like operating rooms and pharmacies. Additional duties include participating in training sessions for new staff and ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:• Sweep, mop, and vacuum designated areas • Restock supplies in bathrooms and other facilities • Strip linens and make beds in patient rooms • Operate industrial cleaning equipment effectively • Empty hazardous waste containers safely

Requirements:• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent • Knowledge of computers and smartphones • Physically capable of lifting 25 lbs and pushing 50 lbs • Ability to perform repetitive movements for extended periods • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English
