Class 3 Driver (Taber), International Border Region (Cardston)

Richardson Bros (Olds) Ltd is hiring CLASS 3 DRIVERS for the 2026 season. Experience is not mandatory but is considered an asset. Some expectations of the employees will be to:

Perform Pre-shift/pre-trip and post-shift/post-trip vehicle safety walk around inspections and report any defects, damage, or repairs needed. Must be able to keep an accurate Daily Drivers Logbook. Perform proper equipment startup and shut down procedures and communicate any maintenance items to the supervisor so proper maintenance can be planned.Operate Class 3 trucks, transporting materials and hauling water between company work sites using haul roads. Operate trucks on haul roads and pit areas in all types of weather. Perform all job duties in accordance with OH&S; law and regulations, established company safety policies, along with provincial and federal environmental regulations in a safe manner consistent with industry best practices. Observe all operation policies and procedures; reports potentially unsafe conditions. Participate in a Formal Hazard Analysis of the working area.Practice defensive driving. Able to work 10 - 11 hour shifts. Demonstrate initiative, accuracy, and thoroughness. Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position. Ability to set priorities which accurately reflect the relative importance of job responsibilities. Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.Ability to fill out all paperwork associated with job. Working independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees. All successful candidates must:

Be proficient in English, both verbally and written. Have a valid Class 3 Drivers License. WHMIS and CSTS are an asset. Undergo and successfully pass the following testing:

Alcohol and Drug Testing (As required)
