Process Trainer– Temporary From $34.57 an hour - Temporary, Full-time

About the role The Process Trainer (Term) will be responsible for facilitating training for on-the-job Operator Training as well as supporting additional site training at Plant 2 and improvement initiatives as required by the Training Department and Plant Management.

What you’ll be doing.

Deliver production-related trainings to ensure proficiency in process areas.

Delivery, co‑ordination, monitoring, and assessment of all operators OJT (On‑the‑Job Training) occurring in the assigned areas in Plant 2.

Co‑ordinate, monitor and review new training materials, SOPs,&operator assessments.

Development, maintenance and continuous improvement of training outlines, documentation, SOP‑based training materials, data, tools, evaluation / assessment materials and processes.

Delivery of other training initiatives (e.g. GMP, Safety, etc.) as determined and assigned by the Training Manager.

Planning and scheduling of employee training.

Ensure the maintenance and accuracy of training records.

Conduct meetings with relevant parties to ensure training plans are communicated and executed properly.

Assist the Training Manager as required.

Active participation and involvement in relevant improvement projects.

Provide support in other areas of production as required.

Get Train the Trainer certification, if needed.

Monday thru Friday– 8 hours unless training a new operator.

Keeps supervisors informed of all conditions affecting the training process.

Treats people with respect, follows‑up on commitments, and strives to uphold organizational values.

Actively looks and seeks out areas of improvement and develops innovative and creative solutions to problems with the training process.

Maintains the confidentiality of trainees, trainers, supervisors, and managers.

Able to speak clearly in front of large groups and deliver training effectively.

Able to write clearly and informatively and able to read and interpret written information.

Use time efficiently by prioritizing and planning required work activities.

Communicate any problems or changes in working environment to appropriate personnel.

Understands and adheres to the concepts and techniques of the quality process to ensure a quality operation.

Additional duties as assigned.

This position is based in a regulated manufacturing environment and requires strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Employees must consistently follow all GMP, safety, and hygiene requirements, including restrictions on jewelry, personal items, and attire while on the production floor. Compliance with these standards is an essential duty of the role to ensure product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

What you’ll need to be successful. Language Skills Must have the ability to read and comprehend complex technical instructions, correspondence, and memos such as safety rules, operating instructions, and technical operation and procedure manuals. Must have the ability to write clear and concise correspondence and routine reports. Effectively present and train on maintenance topics and provide information in one‑on‑one and group situations to other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, percentage, and draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability Ability to apply a reasonable person understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Qualifications Associated diploma, degree and/or technical certification with prior leadership experience is preferred. Demonstrated Training experience would be an asset, such as Train the Trainer or other Training certifications.

Other Abilities

Attends work consistently and on time.

Able to multi‑task, manage competing demands, and adapt to changes in the work environment.

Intermediate computer skills, experience with SAP an asset.

Power Industrial Vehicle (PIV) trainer certification an asset.

Compensation Package Starting at $34.57 CAD hourly + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts.
