Mechanic, International Border Region (Cardston)

The Opportunity DeVry Greenhouses is seeking a hands‑on, proactive Mechanic to join our maintenance team in AB. This role is key to keeping our fleet vehicles and greenhouse equipment running efficiently, ensuring seamless operations during both routine and peak seasons. Responsibilities

Maintain and repair highway trucks, trailers, and reefers (brakes, hydraulics, lights&diesel systems)

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on greenhouse equipment (tractors, skid steers, forklifts, ATVs, implements).

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to minimize downtime.

Follow safety protocols and maintain accurate service records.

Support seasonal operations with proactive maintenance planning.

Qualification:

Mechanical experience (fleet, heavy‑duty, or agricultural equipment is an asset).

Trade certification (e.g. Red Seal, Journeyman) preferred but not required we will train the right candidate.

A positive can‑do attitude and willingness to work extended hours during peak seasons.

Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
