In this role, you help clinicians and patients get the information they need to get a correct diagnosis, and restore, maintain, or optimize health. You'll have the opportunity to perform a variety of routine and specialized tests, including daily processing, testing, resulting, and reporting of diagnostic samples. Description: As a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) you will be responsible for the daily processing, testing, results analysis and reporting of diagnostic samples within the laboratory department. You will perform a variety of routine and specialized procedures in the processing of specimens used in diagnosis, treatment and research.

Required Qualifications: Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) program. Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Alberta (CMLTA).
Additional Required Qualifications: The successful applicant must have a strong sense of teamwork and possess excellent communication skills. Excellent phlebotomy skills, strong technical skills, and adaptability are imperative in this position.
Preferred Qualifications: Proficient computer skills with knowledge of Connect Care, as well as recent phlebotomy and bench experience are an asset.
