Overnight Child Support Worker, International Border Region (Cardston)

This full-time position allows you to work closely with children and youth within a community group home. You’ll apply the Teaching Family Model to nurture strong relationships and promote skills that enhance self-efficacy. Your role will include crisis management and day-to-day support aimed at fostering positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:• Perform regular room checks and security assessments • Investigate and report emergency situations • Provide support during crises and behavioral challenges • Help children with well-being and belonging strategies • Carry out daily household chores and transport as needed

Requirements:• Experience in trauma-informed and family-sensitive care • Requirement of Alberta Class 5 Driver’s License • Personal vehicle necessity for work duties • Completion of background security checks • Ability to manage multiple priorities and show compassion
