Become a vital member of Ace Vegetation Control Service Ltd. as a Heavy Duty Mechanic. This role focuses on diesel engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, both in the shop and in the field.

We seek a dedicated Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of trucks and specialized equipment. You will utilize strong mechanical expertise in diagnosing issues related to diesel engines and hydraulic systems. Fieldwork will involve supporting operational crews and ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues on heavy-duty trucks • Maintain diesel engines, drivetrains, and hydraulic systems • Troubleshoot 12V and 24V electrical systems • Respond to breakdowns and equipment service requests • Maintain accurate maintenance records and service documentation

Requirements:• Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic certification preferred • Experience with heavy-duty equipment and trucks • Strong hydraulic and electrical diagnostic skills • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks • Strong focus on safety and compliance
