EDC seeks a Senior Policy Advisor focused on social risk management policies, working hybrid between office and community hubs. Your expertise will facilitate policy implementation related to human rights and environmental practices.

Ideal applicants will have at least seven years of relevant experience in policy development, particularly within the financial sector. An undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline is required, along with a solid understanding of international human rights commitments. You will support the implementation and review of crucial policies while leading strategies that align with the organization's operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop and implement human-rights policy instruments • Support policy coherence with social risk management • Advise on complex human-rights issues at all levels • Translate emerging trends into actionable advice • Engage with external stakeholders in relevant consultations

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in international affairs or similar • Minimum seven years in policy or sustainability-related roles • Demonstrated expertise in policy development • Familiarity with human rights standards and frameworks • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
