Senior PCB Layout Designer Opportunities, Ahuntsic North

Join us as a Senior PCB Layout Designer, specializing in high-speed designs. Leverage your expertise to create complex, manufacturable layouts while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams remotely or on-site.

This role demands proficiency in designing multi-layer PCBs that comply with stringent electrical specifications. You will work closely alongside mechanical and signal integrity teams throughout the product lifecycle, generating crucial fabrication documentation. Effective communication with manufacturers will facilitate the resolution of design challenges and ensure compliance with DFM principles.

Key Responsibilities:• Develop high-quality multi-layer PCB layouts • Coordinate with teams for product development phases • Generate documentation for fabrication and assembly processes • Participate in DFM reviews and design compliance • Resolve technical issues with PCB vendors

Requirements:• 5+ years in layout design for high-speed applications • Strong background in Cadence Allegro or similar tools • Relevant college diploma or higher • IPC certification a plus • Ability to interact well with teams and clients
