Job Overview We’re looking for a creative, curious, and ambitious designer who’s excited to make their mark in performance-driven advertising. You’ll bring ideas to life across channels like LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, and TikTok, crafting visuals that stop the scroll and drive results. This role is perfect forsomeone eager to learn, experiment, and showcase their skills in a fast-paced environment where design directly impacts business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Craft compelling design assets such as ad sets and landing pages, backed by data to drive improvement of digital marketing KPIs.
Produce motion graphics and basic short‑form video cutdowns optimized for social media advertising, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
Edit existing video assets into high‑performing ad units tailored to platform specifications, aspect ratios, and attention spans.
Collaborate with the media and content teams to align motion creative with audience insights and campaign goals.
Support Directive's own marketing with compelling creative that helps us stand out.
Maintain brand consistency across all static, motion, and video assets while adapting creatively to different audience segments and platforms.
Collaborate with internal teams and client teams to understand business goals, target audience, and additional data points to aid the creation of A/B tests and data‑driven designs.
Design and implement A/B tests and other experiments using CRO tools such as Optimizely, Unbounce, and/or Crazyegg.
Conduct user research, usability testing, and heat‑mapping analysis to gather insights and validate design decisions.
Continuously iterate and refine designs based on feedback, data insights, and testing outcomes.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while communicating effectively with project management and additional internal stakeholders to provide updates on project status, respond to feedback, and ensure that needs are being met.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to CRO and user experience design.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on performance‑driven creative and CRO.
1 year of experience with motion graphics.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, including Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign.
Basic video editing and motion graphics experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.
Knowledge and execution of performance marketing metrics such as A/B testing, CRO analytics, heatmapping, and experience designing for performance‑driven campaigns.
Driven to stay ahead of industry trends, including actively learning how AI and automation can enhance marketing and operations.

Living wage with an annual base salary range for Canada of $70,000–$95,000 CAD.

This role has the opportunity to operate 100% virtually from your home office. You will primarily collaborate with colleagues through virtual meetings (Zoom) and Slack. In this role, you will be required to operate a laptop computer (PC or Mac available), computer software platforms, and other office productivity tools as necessary. You must be able to remain stationary for extended periods, observe and interpret written and/or verbal communication, have reliable internet access, and maintain a professional background.
