Warehouse Assistant (Langley)

Position Overview

Warehouse Assistant– Greater Vancouver (Abbotsville). Must reside within commuting distance or be willing to relocate. This role replenishes finished goods inventory with materials from manufacturing facilities, fills customer orders, inspects and packs material for shipment, and performs additional tasks as required.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Receives all material from the manufacturing facilities and vendors Checks and places materials in the correct bin Checks material against the manifest and reports discrepancies Informs supervisor and photographs all defective materials Cuts down over‑sized laminate to fill pending orders Reads, interprets, processes, and packs ordersPerforms total skid count for loads Adheres to all established safety protocols and procedures Assists the needs of the customer Other duties may be assigned. Ability to learn computer checks for inventories Ability to learn materials inventoried Ability to learn packing techniques Ability to learn proper material handling techniques Ability to understand and follow directions Ability to work independently Ability to drive a lift truck Ability to read and understand customer ordersAbility to operate a saw Ability to enter data at an acceptable speed Education and Experience

High School Diploma or GED required 1+ year relevant warehouse experience, including forklift experience Physical Demands

Perform tasks including lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs Frequent walking and standing throughout the day Workplace

Environment with regular exposure to fumes or odors, temperature extremes, or loud noises that may cause noticeable discomfort or moderate risk. Compensation

Hourly wage range: $18–$23, DOE.
