Senior Accountant– Capital Markets Assurance (Vancouver) Our Vancouver office is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Capital Markets Assurance team and own the following responsibilities.
Responsibilities
Effectively and efficiently handle audit tasks independently or within a team environment
Efficiently prepare year‑end, interim review, and prospectus engagements for clients in the Capital Markets team
Support the planning for and performance of audits of a variety of clients in the Capital Markets practice
Prepare and review working papers and financial statement supporting schedules in compliance with applicable Canadian and US/PCAOB auditing standards and Canadian and US regulatory requirements
Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions
Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team

Qualifications&Experience
Completed CPA designation or in the process of completion
2‑3 years of experience auditing public companies in the public accounting industry
Enjoy working with high‑growth, dynamic publicly‑listed enterprises and companies seeking a public listing liquidity event
Keen to develop further knowledge about the business, assurance and regulatory requirements of entities that are publicly listed in Canada and the US, and private businesses looking to become publicly listed
Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
Display strong problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills
Pay Range $62k– $96k
