Summary

Responsible to assist and manage the day‑to‑day accounting transactions related to bank deposits, accounts receivables and collections. The employee will review and record transactions in the accounting system correctly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assisting in preparation, examination and analysis of accounting records. Assisting in managing the end‑to‑end bank deposit process. Managing receipt applications in the appropriate broker account and keeping the broker account up‑to‑date. Managing broker account reconciliations. Managing broker communications and addressing queries raised in accounts receivable mail node.Initiating broker refund requests. Assisting in managing accounts receivable aging transactions. Supporting the positive‑pay process. Handling brokers’ queries and coordinating with the policy processing team to resolve issues. Supporting month‑end tasks and managing broker statement printing and dispatch.Coordinating with the accounts payable team to manage payments to brokers. Providing necessary support in collections and keeping AR aging under control. Assisting in managing the record retention process for future audits. Assisting and supporting enhancements and changes in the accounts receivable department.Securing financial information with proper documentation. Maintaining confidentiality of financial information. Performing other office and administrative tasks to support the accounting functions. Performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications

One year of related work experience. Proficient analytical skills and computer literacy, with strong understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word. Good verbal and written communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Strong interpersonal, organizational and time‑management skills. Strong work ethic and professional manner, especially with confidential information. Strong writing and language skills. Well‑organized and detail‑oriented. A quick learner and self‑starter. Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.Consistent time‑management and ability to meet deadlines. Availability to work a schedule of 8:00AM to 5:00PM PST, Monday through Friday, unless otherwise agreed upon. Salary

$45,000– 52,000CAD annually. Actual salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, and work location. Benefits
