Key Responsibilities As the
Commercial Insurance Administrator , you will play a critical role in supporting the commercial team by ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of client documentation and policy administration. Your responsibilities will include:
Policy Administration&Documentation:
Prepare, process, and review policy documents, endorsements, certificates, and invoices with a high degree of accuracy.
Ensure all documentation is compliant with insurer requirements and internal standards, supporting a seamless client experience.
Client&Broker Support:
Provide day-to-day administrative support to Account Managers and Producers, assisting with renewals, new business, and mid-term changes.
Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner, coordinating with insurers and internal stakeholders as needed.
System Management&Data Integrity:
Maintain accurate client records within the brokerage management system, ensuring all activities and documentation are properly logged.
Utilize tools such as Applied EPIC to manage workflows, track tasks, and support reporting requirements.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams to ensure deadlines are met and service standards are upheld.
Contribute to process improvements and support a positive, collaborative team environment.
Qualifications To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:
Education&Experience:
Level 2 Insurance License (required).
3+ years of personal lines insurance experience, with exposure to commercial lines considered an asset.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Experience with Applied EPIC is considered a strong asset.
Key Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-first mindset.
A proactive and team-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
