Manager of Major Capital Projects Sooke

The Manager of Major Capital Projects reports to the Director, Facilities, and collaborates with district staff, school administrators, and external contractors. The successful candidate will showcase strong project management skills while overseeing budgets, schedules, and scopes across various capital projects. Leadership, critical thinking, and effective communication are essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:• Oversee construction contract administration and compliance • Manage project budgets, schedules, and scopes efficiently • Collaborate with school and municipal staff on project execution • Ensure adherence to BC Building Code and safety regulations • Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders

Requirements:• University degree in Engineering or Architecture • Minimum five years of project management experience • Knowledge of construction and building systems • Proficiency in project management methodologies • Valid BC Driver's Licence
