BCIT UI/UX Design Educator Position, Highlands

BCIT’s School of Business + Media seeks an enthusiastic educator to instruct in the UI/UX Associate Certificate Program. With over five years of industry experience required, candidates should be adept in user research and prototyping, demonstrating a strong commitment to teaching excellence and inclusivity. This role allows for significant student interaction through courses like GDES 2150 and MDIA 2330.

Key Responsibilities:• Instruct students through practical face-to-face sessions • Support student success with constructive feedback • Ensure curriculum meets current industry standards • Participate in faculty collaboration for program improvement • Create and refine instructional materials and assessments

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline • Minimum five years of experience in UI/UX design • Teaching experience preferred but not mandatory • Strong communication and organizational skills • Engagement with UI/UX design communities valued
