Part-Time Faith Formation Coordinator Role, Kitchener

Join St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Kitchener as a Coordinator of Christian Formation, focusing on youth and family ministry. This part-time role, offering 20-24 hours weekly, is primarily onsite with some remote work options.

As a key member of the church staff, your mission will be to provide faith-building experiences that engage children and families. Reporting directly to the Lead Minister, you'll strengthen connections between youth, family engagement, and broader church activities. Your support in developing a vibrant discipleship pathway is essential for nurturing the congregation's shared life.

Key Responsibilities:• Lead and staff Sunday School lessons weekly • Organize and train a team of ministry leaders • Recommend educational resources consistent with church beliefs • Facilitate intergenerational worship participation • Coordinate family ministry events and activities

Requirements:• Experience working with children and youth in faith contexts • Excellent interpersonal communication skills • Familiarity with Presbyterian beliefs and inclusive policies • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively • Valid driver’s license required
