Clinical Assistant in Healthcare Setting, Kitchener

Become a valued Clinical Assistant in an ophthalmology clinic, dedicated to improving patient eyesight and experience. Assist in pre-operative and post-operative processes while delivering top-notch patient support.

This full-time role allows you to work closely with medical professionals by managing patient charts, conducting tests, and answering inquiries. You will also actively support the Risk Management program by reporting any safety concerns to enhance clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:• Assist with pre-op exams and patient records • Provide answers to patient questions and concerns • Perform critical pre-operative and post-operative tests • Update appointment systems for post-op visits • Report safety incidents to clinic management

Requirements:• Strong verbal communication in English • Familiarity with computers and Microsoft 365 • Experience in the healthcare industry is beneficial • Commitment to excellent customer service • Availability for flexible hours, Monday to Friday, 8 AM-4:30 PM
