What You’ll Be Doing
Develop, maintain a business plan, be the primary contact and manage assigned key accounts for the
Quad City Region (Cambridge, Kitchener, Guelph, and Waterloo) . The CAM will also be responsible for soliciting new customers and growing the account base to help meet the sales budget.
Manage all assigned accounts and be the key contact for all activities.
Identify and target sales opportunities within your assigned geographic area.
Work primarily with partners, manufacturers, and Gerrie staff to grow sales and improve market share of our solutions.
Develop and execute an annual sales/business plan for your assigned accounts via CRM and account plans.
Manage the closing of proposals to customers and actively seek feedback that leads to successful outcomes.
Assume a key position within the bid team in developing strategy.
Provide prompt, clear, and concise quotations.
Follow up on opportunities, quotes, and proposals to the customer and actively seek feedback that leads to successful outcomes.
Submit call reports and update CRM.
Participate in and attend sales meetings, annual planning meetings, etc.
What You Bring To The Table
Post‑secondary education from a technical program (Electrical, Mechanical, etc.).
5+ years proven experience in sales, preferably within the electrical wholesale industry.
Strategically minded with strong presentation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
Strong technical knowledge and solid understanding of contractor markets.
Self‑motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
