HR Business Partner– North America Department: Human Resources Entity: CS e-Storage Reports To: Global HR Manager Location: Texas (remote) or Kitchener (office based)
About the Role We are seeking a hands‑on HR Business Partner (HRBP) to support our fast‑growing e‑Storage business across North America. This role balances strategic partnership with day‑to‑day execution and provides trusted advisory to business leaders while ensuring operational excellence in core HR processes.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business objectives
Support organisational design, workforce planning, and talent strategy
Coach leaders on performance management, engagement, and team effectiveness
Drive change management initiatives in a high‑growth environment
Execute core HR processes including onboarding, performance cycles, and offboarding
Provide guidance on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
Support compensation and promotion processes
Maintain strong operational discipline across HR activities
Leverage Workday for HR transactions, reporting, and analytics
Ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR systems
Use insights to inform decision‑making and improve business outcomes
Partner with Recruitment to support hiring needs
Drive employee engagement and retention initiatives
Champion company culture and values across the e‑Storage business
Qualifications&Experience
Proven experience as an HR Business Partner in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
Strong working knowledge of Workday (transactions, reporting, data management)
Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically
Experience supporting technical, industrial, or energy‑related businesses is a plus
Solid understanding of North American employment practices and legislation
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust at all levels
Desired Attributes
Comfortable“in the weeds” while keeping a strategic lens
Proactive problem‑solver with a strong sense of ownership
Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in a scaling organization
High attention to detail with strong execution capability
