In this role, you will drive the development and validation of novel liquid biopsies, working directly with founders Dr. Christopher Mueller and Keira Frosst. You will engage in optimizing multiplexed PCR and NGS workflows while validating techniques in clinical trials for lung and breast cancer. This role is a partnership with Queen’s University.

Key Responsibilities:• Optimize library preparation for multiplexed PCR and NGS • Conduct clinical sample analysis for trials • Collaborate on bioinformatics approaches to assess data • Introduce new methodologies to enhance ctDNA detection • Document processes for patent and regulatory purposes

Requirements:• PhD in Molecular Biology, Genetics, or similar • Experience with Ion Torrent and/or Illumina sequencing • Knowledge in ctDNA, methylation, or epigenetics • Adaptability to work in a startup context • Proven ability to communicate findings effectively
