Temporary Part Time Registered Nurse Position, Kingston

Providence Care seeks a Temporary Part Time Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in a non-acute setting at Heritage 2. Ideal candidates will bring clinical expertise and commitment to quality patient outcomes.

This role requires an active nursing license from the College of Nurses of Ontario, where you will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Collaborating with an inter-professional team, you will prioritize patient needs, focusing on their physical, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being while adhering to hospital policies. Your advocacy will support families and ensure dignified care.

Key Responsibilities:• Deliver safe, effective patient care in accordance with nursing standards • Evaluate complex patient health statuses and collaborate on care plans • Participate in discharge planning and therapeutic care priorities • Provide direct nursing care within your practice scope• Protect patient rights while advocating for their needs

Requirements:• Active, unrestricted nursing license with the College of Nurses of Ontario • Current CPR certificate and nursing diploma required • BNSc preferred for candidate strength • Experience in sub-acute or rehabilitation settings is beneficial • Strong communication skills for teamwork andpatient interaction
