Job Summary
Reporting to the Quality Control Manager, the Quality Control Technician will support and drive the accuracy of material testing and field data collection. The role is critical in ensuring all asphalt and aggregate materials meet project specifications through field sampling and laboratory analysis.Responsibilities
Lead the collection of asphalt and aggregate samples from construction, plant, and quarry sites. Operate specialized drilling equipment to procure hot mix core samples for testing. Own the end‑to‑end transport and delivery of site samples to the laboratory. Coordinate site visits with cross‑functional teams, including site supervisors and plant operators.Communicate insights and potential material risks to the Quality Control Manager and site leadership. Provide accurate recording and reporting of test results to support decision‑making. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy of field sampling techniques. Recommend and implement enhancements to laboratory testing workflows.Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental procedures, and industry standards. Maintain field equipment and lab machinery to ensure optimal working condition. Provide timely feedback on material quality to mitigate project delays. Keep all documentation organized and accessible for internal audits.Position Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 kg regularly in a field environment. Results‑driven with a proven ability to deliver high‑quality work in a fast‑paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to connect and interact with diverse teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills for recording data and reporting findings. Daily travel to various site locations is required. Compensation&Benefits
