Production Assistant - Summer Student, Kingston

Hours: Full-time up to 40 hours a week, Day shift

What you will do

Work as part of a team to manufacture fiberglass pools

Work with your hands to apply gel, resin and related coatings to pools using hand tools and spray devices

Assemble and install parts for pools

Complete finishing touches to detail pools for shipment

Prepare pool molds for production

Physical requirements of the position include but are not limited to prolonged standing, frequent bending/reaching/stooping, overhead work for 8 to 12 hour shifts; lifting up to fifty (50) pounds.

Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, Respirator, hard hat, gloves, and/or protective outerwear and safety shoes are required. Exposure to dust, odors/fumes, heat or cold (dependent upon weather conditions) and noise is typical. PPE will be provided other than safety shoes.

Other industrial related experience (e.g. Autobody Painter, Spray Painter, Skilled Laborer) preferred, but not required.

Must be 18 years old or older and currently enrolled as a student.
