Compassionate Health Care Assistant Role, Kelowna

Bayshore HealthCare is seeking a dedicated Registered Health Care Assistant to provide essential in-home care and homemaking services. Support clients with daily activities while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout.

This position requires a compassionate and skilled individual ready to deliver high-quality personal care according to specific care plans. You will assist clients with daily living tasks, offer companionship, and uphold emotional and physical well-being. Effective communication and a solid understanding of caregiving principles are key for success.

Key Responsibilities:• Provide comprehensive homemaking, including cooking and cleaning • Offer companionship during community activities • Administer personal care as per care plan directives • Ensure clients' comfort and safety at all times • Document and report client conditions as required

Requirements:• Completed accredited caregiver training program • Strong knowledge of caregiving principles • Effective spoken and written English communication • Ability to lift and assist clients physically • Clear Criminal background check required
