Start your journey in the mechanical field at Whitewater Mountain Resort as an Apprentice Heavy Duty Mechanic. Engage in vehicle maintenance for heavy-duty fleets in a full-time, year-round position.

As an Apprentice, you'll work under the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor, focusing on heavy-duty vehicle repairs and maintenance. You will assist with critical tasks, from oil changes to complex troubleshooting, while maintaining stringent safety standards and contributing to a positive team atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:• Maintain and repair Snow Cats and similar equipment • Conduct regular maintenance tasks like inspections • Keep detailed records of repair activities • Collaborate with shop staff to enhance efficiency • Participate in training sessions for technical knowledge

Requirements:• Must have Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent • Enrolled in a Heavy Duty Mechanics program preferred • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License is mandatory • Previous relevant experience in a shop • Heavy equipment operational experience is advantageous
