Journeyperson Electrician at Rising Edge, Kamloops

In this senior role, you will report to the Site Supervisor and be responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading electrical equipment in substations ranging from 13.8 kV to 500 kV. The position includes interpreting electrical codes, planning electrical layouts, and providing guidance to Apprentices, ensuring compliance and quality in all operations.

Key Responsibilities:• Install and maintain high-voltage electrical systems and equipment • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical codes • Supervise and mentor Electrical Apprentices on site • Conduct inspections and testing of electrical installations • Ensure compliance with safety regulations andcompany standards

Requirements:• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate • Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience • High-voltage experience is strongly preferred • Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code with BC Amendments • Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean record
