In this senior Electrician role, you will report to the Site Supervisor and focus on maintenance, installation, and upgrades of 13.8 kV to 500 kV substations. Your expertise in reading blueprints and electrical codes will be essential, along with training and mentoring Electrical Apprentices. With a commitment to excellence and safety, you will take pride in delivering reliable solutions in energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:• Install and maintain high-voltage electrical systems • Troubleshoot faulty equipment including transformers and circuit breakers • Operate construction machinery safely on-site • Provide leadership and training to Electrical Apprentices • Ensure compliance with Technical Safety BC and company standards

Requirements:• Valid Journeyperson Electrician Certificate • Minimum 5 years of electrical work experience • High-voltage experience strongly preferred • Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and BC regulations • Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean record
