Registered early childhood educator (RECE), Cariboo and West Okanagan (100 Mile House)

Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) Location: Williams Lake, BC V2G 4C4

Salary: $30.40 hourly / 35 hours per week

Terms: Permanent, Full time

Work must be completed at the physical location. Remote work is not an option.

Responsibilities

Assess children’s development to prepare individualized learning plans.

Develop and implement child‑care programs supporting children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.

Communicate overall situation of the children to parents.

Assist early childhood educators in delivering development programs.

Lead activities such as telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.

Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co‑workers and community service providers.

Plan and organize activities for school‑age children in child‑care programs before and after regular school hours.

Qualifications

Emergency child care first aid and CPR.

Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.

First Aid Certificate.

Work Conditions
