Salary range: CAD $32.84 - $44.96 per hour. We are looking to fill a Casual position for a Licensed Practical Nurse at Eagle Ridge Manor in Port Moody, B.C. Benefits

Under the direction of the Manager, Clinical Operations or designate, and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, the LPN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care. The LPN operates in accordance with competency guidelines and the full scope of practice set by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM), agency operating policies, and unit‑specific protocols.Responsibilities
Assesses patient/resident/family strengths and limitations across physiological, psychological, socio‑cultural, and spiritual domains. Provides a supportive environment and promotes patient/resident/family involvement in health‑care decisions. Contributes to the development and ongoing adjustment of individualized plans of care, including attendance at multidisciplinary planning meetings andfamily conferences.Delivers nursing care in accordance with policies, procedures, technology, and FHA standards, and evaluates outcomes. Documents observations and reports problems or changes to designated staff. Performs admissions, discharges, and transfers according to agency policies and procedures. Maintains and operates patient/resident care equipment such as bathtubs, scales, and mechanical lifts.Assists in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients/residents and staff. Assists in the orientation of new staff, students, and other members of the health‑care team. Participates in continuous quality improvement, program evaluation, education sessions, team conferences, meetings, and committees.Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications
Education and Experience Graduate of a recognized practical nursing program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Current practicing registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM). Skills and Abilities
Effective verbal and written communication. Effective interpersonal skills. Organizational skills and the ability to implement a plan of care. Knowledge and competence to work at full scope of practice as required by BCCNM, including medication administration. Ability to operate related equipment.Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
