Become a pivotal part of fleet management at Big Country Equipment in Kamloops, BC. We are looking for a Fleet Administrator to oversee administrative and operational tasks crucial to fleet success.
In this role, you will support the Fleet Manager by ensuring accurate tracking and management of our fleet's 90 vehicles. You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance schedules, monitoring fleet metrics, and maintaining compliance records. Strong analytical skills and a commitment to detail are key for effective performance in this position.
Key Responsibilities:• Manage fleet telematics and GPS data daily • Schedule maintenance and track repair statuses • Coordinate with vendors and drivers for service needs • Administer vehicle compliance and registration documents • Generate reports for fleet performance and costs
Requirements:• Diploma in business administration or related field • At least 3 years in an administrative role, with fleet experience • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with fleet software • Excellent communication with team members and vendors • Clean Class 5 driver's license required
