Transform lives as a Speech Language Pathologist in Nunavut. This full-time position blends assessment, therapeutic interventions, and educational outreach to support diverse client needs.
Working 37.5 hours per week, you will focus on conducting clinical assessments and developing targeted programs for clients in the community. Your role involves significant interaction with families, school teams, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support. You will also manage client documentation and participate in ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:• Perform in-depth clinical assessments for therapy planning • Create and evaluate individualized and group therapeutic programs • Educate caregivers and school staff on intervention methods • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for efficient service delivery• Maintain accurate records for client care management
Requirements:• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology is mandatory • Current registration with a provincial governing body • Experience working with children in clinical settings • Preferred experience in leading and developing therapy programs • Understanding of cultural sensitivity and diversity
