Being part of the mining operations team, the jumbo operator is responsible for carrying out drilling activities.

Respect safety standards at all times;

Inspect the work environment at the beginning and end of the shift;

Inspect the drill before starting the shift and record it on the work card;

Use and complete his work card throughout the shift;

Secure the work area using safety tape starting from the electrical connection;

Clean and identify the bottom of the holes;

Project the drilling pattern and validate previous work;

Install alignment devices (laser poles);

Mark the face according to plans and specifications and draw a reference line;

Position the drill to drill the holes;

At the end of the drilling, park the boom drill and record the parking location on the work card;

Complete the daily report at the end of the shift;

Any other related tasks.

Requirements

Underground hard rock Common Core;

Hold a valid explosive license;

Have a minimum of 6 months of drilling experience;
