Exciting opportunity for a Child Care Assistant in a permanent, full-time position at a local urban child care center. Focus on nurturing children's development through creative programming and daily support.
In this role, you will collaborate with early childhood educators to foster children’s physical, cognitive, and social skills. The position involves leading educational activities, managing snack times, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all children.
Key Responsibilities:• Develop engaging programs to support child growth • Lead educational activities and local outings • Prepare meals and snacks for children • Document and discuss progress with staff • Organize and plan after-school activities
Requirements:• ECE level 1 Child Development Assistant certification • Current First Aid certificate is mandatory • Successful completion of background checks • Strong interpersonal skills; punctuality is essential • Ability to adapt to various workplace needs
