General Construction Labourer, Halifax

Compensation and Benefits

Schedule

Full-Time (40 hours/week)

Monday - Friday

8:00 am - 4:00 pm

Duties

Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment

Assist with framing by measuring, cutting, and handling steel studs and track

Help with drywall installation by measuring, cutting, and handling drywall sheets

Support drywall taping/finishing, including mixing and applying joint compound, taping, and sanding

Clean work areas by removing debris and scraping the floor

Install batt insulation in walls

Comply with all safety policies

Requirements

No prior job experience required

Safety equipment (steel-toe shoes, hard hat, high-vis vest, gloves, etc.)

Comfortable with physically demanding work, construction sites, loud noises, dust, outdoor work
