Description
Job Summary Consultant, People&Culture Experience based in Halifax, supporting colleagues in Nova Scotia and elsewhere. The role requires travel between offices, a valid driver’s licence, and the ability to build strong connections within people and culture teams.

Responsibilities

Connect in engaging ways with internal clients and prioritize successful attraction, engagement, and development of talent.

Provide a high level of service while executing on cyclical and event‑based processes such as annual reviews, compensation and exiting processes.

Coordinate employee movement in and out of the business unit, including supervision of certain HR administration.

Deliver training sessions on key people and culture best practices and cyclical processes, and support the development of local trainings.

Engage and support People Managers to inspire and develop people, and support them in their own coaching and management development.

Project manage and support campus recruiting campaigns and Campus Leads.

Collaborate with colleagues across the country to execute on the strategic People and Culture vision and share knowledge and best practices.

Review and keep apprised on business unit people metrics.

Provide training and support to the business unit on the firm’s talent management and HRIS system.

Work closely with the National Talent Attraction team and local hiring managers to facilitate the recruitment and selection process.

Develop Hiring Managers to effectively recruit, select and onboard while providing an exceptional candidate experience.

Qualifications

Post‑secondary education required; HR‑related education and CPHR designation an asset.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Human Resource role.

Ability to provide exceptional and professional internal customer service daily with a sense of urgency.

Demonstrated experience delivering training sessions on key processes, culture best practices, and cyclical processes.

Possess strong attention to detail.

Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite programs and ability to analyze data accurately.

Experience working in a professional services or public practice environment an asset.

Demonstrated experience coaching people managers at various levels within the practice.
