About the Role As a Commercial Property Claims Handler at Intact, you will be responsible for managing commercial property claims and supporting customers and brokers through the claims process. The role offers the opportunity to work on a varied caseload, build technical claims experience, and develop your career within a supportive and well-established insurance business. Key Responsibilities

Investigate and manage commercial property claims from first notification through to settlement, ensuring claims are progressed promptly in line with service standards and business objectives.

Support customers and brokers throughout the claims journey, maintaining consistent communication and adhering to agreed claims processes and service propositions.

Apply technical claims knowledge to assess liability, resolve queries, and agree settlements accurately and fairly.

Share knowledge and best practice with colleagues to support team capability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications&Skills

Previous experience handling commercial property claims, with a good understanding of policy wording, coverage, and claims processes.

Ability to manage a varied claims caseload, progressing claims efficiently while meeting service standards and deadlines.

Good communication skills, with experience dealing with brokers, policyholders, loss adjusters, and internal teams.

Strong attention to detail and sound judgement when assessing liability, reviewing documentation, and agreeing settlements.
