Note:
This position has an expected end date of June, 2027.
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant IV to join our Energy and Risk Management team. Reporting to the Manager, Reporting and Compliance, you will work to provide a high caliber of administrative support for a team of approximately thirty people.
This role is ideal for someone with strong clerical abilities, who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, is enthusiastic about helping others succeed and comply with corporate administrative and safety requirements.
Key Elements of this Role
Arrange and coordinate meetings and events, manage calendars and e‑mail, travel arrangements, office supplies and office mail/package handling. Also maintain filing systems and SharePoint sites, and create and edit documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Ensure Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations compliance, including tracking the team’s safety program and monitoring training status to ensure compliance.
Process invoices for payment and update payroll, as well as process expense reports.
Provide assistance with various reporting including budget preparation, variance analysis, records of approvals and Balanced Score Card data.
Support storm restoration efforts if required.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications To thrive in this role, you should possess most of the following competencies and skills:
Minimum of Grade XII education, a recognized Office Administration and/or Business Certificate (or equivalent) and a minimum of three (3) years of experience.
Proficiency with various software applications including Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint, Oracle, and PeopleSoft.
Detail-oriented, working to a high standard with good judgement and the ability to work with confidentiality.
Team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of working independently, and a self‑starter.
Excellent organizational, multi‑tasking, and communication skills.
