Asset Protection Representative, Grande Prairie

As an Asset Protection Representative at the Real Canadian Superstore in Fort McMurray, Alberta (9 Haineault St), you will help protect the store, reduce loss, and keep a safe environment for customers.

As an Asset Protection Representative, You Will:

Deter, detect, and apprehend theft and fraud within our retail locations.

Collaborate with other APRs to investigate provincial or national ORC cases.

Collaborate with the local police service regularly.

Detect and investigate internal investigations, compile and present evidence for court or arbitration.

Identify potential shrink opportunities within compliance procedures.

Build and maintain store partnership through management meetings and huddles; coach and mentor colleagues on Asset Protection policies.

Participate in store‑level audits.

Participate in community events.

Work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights, and weekends (40‑hour work week).

Required Skills, Qualifications&Experience:

Valid Provincial Security Guard License.

Basic understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act, Powers of Arrest, CCTV, and/or surveillance systems; working knowledge of Windows applications (Word, Power Point, Outlook).

Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor.

High initiative and integrity to succeed in a dynamic environment.
