Our client is seeking a driven and technically proficient Business Development Representative to join their team, specializing in pumps and industrial fluid handling equipment across Alberta. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with a strong understanding of industrial applications and a passion for building client relationships and driving sales growth.Total rewards

Develop and execute strategic plans to grow sales within key and target accounts across Alberta. Identify and pursue new business opportunities while cultivating relationships with key decision-makers. Gather project requirements and track procurement cycles to support accurate and timely quote preparation.Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized product and service solutions to industrial clients. Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to contract negotiation and closing. Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and participate in relevant industry associations.Provide regular reporting on sales activities, market insights, and progress toward business goals. Represent the company at industry events and client meetings across the province. Requirements
Post-secondary education in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience; strong technical aptitude is essential. Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with a proven track record in business development and closing sales. Ability to travel within Alberta and internationally (primarily to the USA) for training; valid passport and visa (if required) are necessary.Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with experience in the pumps or fluid handling industry preferred. Technical understanding of industrial pump systems and fluid handling solutions. Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently in a field-based role.
