Pump Shop Supervisor, Grande Prairie

ROLE STATEMENT The Pump Shop Supervisor will be a member of the Maintenance Department responsible for maintaining the pump shop to ensure safe and efficient fluid end repair/replacement and readiness testing for equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and taking day-to-day direction from the Fracturing Manager and/or Coiled Tubing Department Supervisor, the Pump Shop Supervisor will focus on providing maintenance and operational assistance including safely operating Class 1 units in the district yard, ensuring adequate materials and supplies are available, as well as adhering to all Calfrac HSE policies and procedures.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsible for coordination of removing/installing all required fluid ends and treating iron and rebuilding components

Testing units after repairs have been completed as per District requirements

Operate Class 1 units related to Fracturing, Coiled Tubing, and Transport service lines

Drive Class 1 vehicles within the district yard and region in a safe manner when needed

Assist with servicing and maintaining Calfrac equipment

Assist with new hire onboarding and training initiatives including conducting shop and yard tours for OaTS

Operate the forklift when required

Basic mechanical aptitude

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Class 1 driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract

5+ years of experience working in oilfield services and specific service line experience

High School Diploma or GED

Basic computer skills would be beneficial to this position (Microsoft Word and Excel

Overhead crane certification will be an asset

Fork Lift Certificate will be an asset
