This Teaching Assistant position entails working closely with teaching staff to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. Your responsibilities will include providing tailored 1:1 and small-group support, ensuring pupils access learning effectively, and assisting with their emotional regulation. Your impact will help re-engage students returning to education after challenges.

Key Responsibilities:• Support pupils with SEMH needs in individual and group settings • Collaborate with teachers to enhance learning and behaviour • Help children acclimatize to routines and transitions • Deliver interventions for disengaged pupils stepping back into education • Build trusting relationships to foster student confidence

Requirements:• Passion for supporting children facing SEMH challenges • Must hold a driving license • Calm and patient demeanor in managing behaviour • Experience in SEN or alternative education preferred • Commitment to re-engaging pupils with their education
