Role: Senior Dotnet Developer Experience Level: 5+ Years Employment type: Full Time Location: Canada Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance applications using C# and .NET framework/core. Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. Integrate and manage in-memory data stores such as MemoryStore and Valkey for high-throughput, low-latency systems. Architect and implement data solutions using Cloud Spanner for globally distributed applications.Develop and manage asynchronous workflows and task queues using Cloud Tasks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, DevOps, QA) to deliver high-quality software solutions. Ensure code quality through code reviews, unit testing, and best practices. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing systems for performance and scalability.Contribute to system architecture decisions and technical strategy. Mentor junior developers and promote engineering excellence within the team. Required Skills
Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs Hands-on experience with:
MemoryStore (or similar in-memory caching systems like Redis) Valkey (or equivalent key-value store technologies) Cloud Spanner or other distributed SQL databases Cloud Tasks or similar task queue systems
Solid understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud Platform) Solid knowledge of asynchronous programming, concurrency, and performance tuning Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practicesUnderstanding of database design, indexing, and query optimization Strong problem-solving and debugging skills What’s in it for YOU at Quantiphi?
