Take on a pivotal role as an Electrical Designer in Mining at EXP, available in St. Johns, NL or select Ontario locations. Work seamlessly with engineers to produce vital electrical designs.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years in industrial design within an EPCM setting, focusing on mining and mineral projects. You will draft comprehensive drawings, from wiring schematics to control systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation is essential.
Key Responsibilities:• Collaborate on accurate drawing package creation • Design circuits and electrical details for projects • Support drafting in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or REVIT • Plot and issue essential project documents • Meet client deadlines across multiple projects
Requirements:• 5 years of relevant heavy industrial design experience • Background in instrumentation and PLC design • Graduate from a recognized technical college • Familiarity with engineering standards and codes • Self-motivated and detail-oriented communication skills
