Personal Support Worker on Manitoulin Island, Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

As a Personal Support Worker, you will work under the guidance of Registered Nurses to assess clients, document changes, and provide essential daily care. Your responsibilities include assisting with meal prep, medication reminders, and hygiene support while ensuring safety and welfare. Additionally, you’ll develop care plans collaboratively with nursing staff, reflecting the needs of the individual client.

Key Responsibilities:• Conduct vital sign assessments and observe client conditions • Prepare meals and provide meal reminders • Document and report significant client changes • Develop personalized care plans with nursing staff • Provide emotional support and personal hygiene assistance

Requirements:• Personal Support Worker Certificate is mandatory • Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector checks • Current CPR C and First Aid Certification • Valid Class G driver’s license and vehicle access • Experience with First Nation communities preferred
