Project Accountant - Financial Management Focus, Northeastern Manitoulin and the Islands

Barclay Constructors is looking for a Project Accountant to join their Sudbury office. Ideal candidates will excel in managing construction project finances and reporting.

In this role, you will be integral to the financial stewardship of construction projects, collaborating with various teams to monitor performance and budget accuracy. You will contribute valuable insights through thorough financial analysis while ensuring compliance with company standards and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:• Oversee project set-up and close-out processes • Manage accounts receivable and resolve billing issues • Assist with month-end close activities and reports • Provide insights during project review meetings • Conduct job-specific cost analyses and recommendations

Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration • Minimum of 3 years in a relevant financial role • CPA credential is advantageous • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
