Upper Canada Child Care seeks a dedicated Assistant Educator to support toddler programming in Keswick. This full-day, full-time role focuses on nurturing children's growth through play-based education.
At the Prince of Peace CES location, you will engage toddlers in enriching activities while ensuring compliance with educational standards. Your role includes direct support for children, facilitating communication with parents, and participating in staff development opportunities. Ensure each child thrives in a safe, educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:• Deliver developmentally appropriate educational experiences • Assist toddlers with daily routines and activities • Maintain communication with parents regarding programs • Document children’s progress through Storypark • Work collaboratively with staff and external partners
Requirements:• Up-to-date health assessment and immunizations • CPR-C and First Aid certification required • Familiarity with inquiry/play-based learning • Ability to effectively supervise in public outdoor spaces • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
